This made me angry.. I'd hate to see the day that home schooling would be a more educated and more responsible choice than public/(most) private schooling. I'm not a genius and I'm not mentally challanged, but I wouldn't want to home school my kids (if i have any). I want my kinds to grow up with more useful and life progressing knowlege/facts than I did.

Being stuck at a Sonic/Walgreens and not knowing what you want to do with your life sucks.. can you imagine.. someone like that teaching their own kids science, math, philosophy, etc?? No! But if this Creationism shit hits my state.. I'd rather the kids be taught by ignorance rather than arrogance and brainwashing insanity!

Creationism is Religion with a pretty little gold star on top of it. Only the stupid see creationism as special/seperate. For the Modern Day religious but open minded and intelligent person, The bible is just a book of guidelines to help influence a more hopeful and positive perspective on life when there is nothing but gloom or questions that cannot or have no answer. And even those people agree that you cannot take the bible 100% literally because it was written by man and it has some negativity within it.

Believe what you want. But do so without trying to force others to believe in it as well, UNLESS you know for A FACT, it will safe their Present Life, NOT afterlife(cause that's a belief too).

...is very great indeed (according to Richard Dawkins and, um, Charles Krauthammer) / but according to Morris Dees, it's the Resurgent Klan and/or the Militia Movement / a-and Dinesh D'Souza says it's the Duke University English Department that is singlehandedly destroying Western Civilization !

sheesh, who am i supposed to believe?

ideally, someone who doesn't have a stake in my believing said Belief (i.e., buying their product, joining their cult, ad nauseam).

i agree with you, pretty much: Minding One's Business is a far more responsible position than trying to colonize your neighbor's mind (or waiting around for somebody or something to colonize YOURS / our language and thinking is riddled enough as it is with virtual billboards and corporate detritus...).
